Return and Refund Policy  

How to return an item you've bought from homegarden.co.za:

Click here to submit your request for a returns and get a Merchandise Authorization Code number. Please include your order number and let us know which item(s) you are returning.

We will arrange for the return of the item to us. Please don't post it back to us, we won't be able to receive it at our office address.

Date Issued : 2000 January 01 : All products sold by Home Garden are covered under our 3 days Guarantee Against Defects. Items may be returned for refund or replacement subject to manufacturer and/or Home Garden restrictions. All product returns must have a Returned Merchandise Authorization issued by Home Garden. The Returned Merchandise Authorization is valid for 3 days from the date of issuance. Defective items may be returned for refund or replacement subject to the following restrictions:

  • All products must be returned in original condition including packaging, documentation, warranty cards, manuals, and accessories.
  • Special orders may only be returned for replacement and not for refund.
  • All returns must be shipped freight prepaid.
  • Any returns found to be non-defective are subject to a restocking fee of 15% and all non product related fees (shipping, transaction, bank transaction charges and insurance, collection) are not refundable.
  • If unopened goods are returned within 3 days, you will receive a refund excluding transport costs.
  • Delivery fees not refunded for returns or for collecting of products items.
  • 15% handling fee on any goods returned, and this must be within 3 days of you receiving the order
  • We will gladly refund your money - minus shipping / delivery / collection / transaction costs / producing costs and a 15% handling fee - as long as the item has not been used and is returned in its "original sealed packaging".
  • 25% of the payment is not refundable if you cancel your order as your order is already in the production process. a 25% charge is cover our production consumption
  • 15% handling fee on any goods returned and plus shipping / delivery / collection / transaction costs / producing costs are not refundable if products non-defective
  • Payment via Credit card: if you like to cancel your order you will be charged and not refunded 5%+VAT (Net Cash Credit Card Transactions) + 15% as your order is already in the production process.
  • Money will Refund within 20 Working days from date of requested/submitted.
  • You need to get a Merchandise Authorization Code from our account department before return the products and refund the money

Packing & Sending Your Return or Exchange

To return or exchange an item, please use the form inside your original carton for specific instructions. If you did not receive a form or experienced delivery issues including damage, please call our Customer Care Center for support at
info@GoldenBarley.com. Customer Care specialists are available 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Directions:
Pack the item to be returned securely in the original carton to avoid damage in transit.
Inside the box, please include your contact information, the order number and the reason for the return. Please use our carrier for the exchange or return of your item and retain the tracking number for future reference.

Please note all exchanges or returns must be received at our facility within 3 days of your original receipt of the item(s).

Please allow 10-
20 business days for processing after Golden Barley receives your return. If your original purchase was by EFT, your returned merchandise will be credited to your original payment method. If you paid by cheque, a refund cheque will be sent to you. If you paid by gift certificate, you will receive a merchandise credit.

Original delivery charges and return shipping charges are not refundable. Please note your item(s) may be subject to a re-stocking fee as defined under the Return and Exchange Policy found on the
help
page.

Please note that we as HomeGarden.co.za will not accept any items back for credit if the packaging is not complete. Box, accessories etc


Defective items may be returned for refund or replacement subject to the following restrictions:

When you click to make a purchase with us legal obligations arise and your right to refund of monies charged to your credit card or paid in any other way agreed by us, are limited by our terms & conditions. Once payment is made for the purchase, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for such purchase. Should you for any reason wish to cancel your purchase you will be liable for a 15% handling fee Plus shipping / delivery / collection / transaction costs / producing costs are not refundable if products non-defective. You must advise us in writing of your cancellation and any such cancellation must be signed by the person who made the original purchase.

3-Day Return Guarantee
Customer satisfaction is our top priority. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return or exchange the item within 3 days of receipt as long as the item is returned in new, unused and resalable condition inside its original packaging. Your return will be Charged subject to restocking a 15% Handling fees and shipping fees for each individual product as noted on help page.

Special Extended Holiday Return Policy As a convenience to our customers, orders placed between November 1 and December 25 may be returned through January 31. All other guidelines apply.
