HomeGarden.co.za offers a Five year warranty (effective
March 01 2011) on castings only for domestic/residential
use, from the date of purchase, the castings to be free
from defects in material and workmanship under normal use
and service.
The warranty
applies to home use only, and not for commercial use.
This warranty applies only to furniture manufactured by
HomeGarden.co.za Garden Furniture South Africa. No returns
will be accepted without prior written authorisation from
the Company. In the unlikely event that your
HomeGarden.co.za cast aluminium product fails structurally
during normal use within 5 years of the purchase date, we
will repair or replace the item free of charge, parts and
labour inclusive.
Finishes are guaranteed not to peel, crack or blister for
a period of 1 (one) year from date of purchase. Its
obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or
making good or replacing, as may in the sole discretion of
the company be deemed necessary, any parts of the casting
concerned, which shall within 30 days after detection of
the defect in material and workmanship of the casting, be
returned to the company's factory from which it has
dispatched with transportation costs thus defective.
This warranty shall not apply to any casting which has
been subject to any misuse, negligence or accident. The
company will not be liable for indirect or consequential
loss nor will the company be liable for loss or damage
resulting from misuse, faulty installation, incorrect
application, alteration, maliciously-destroy, incorrect
use or accident.
Parts are always replaced wherever possible, but in the
situation where the product had been discontinued, a
replacement of equal value will be offered. The purchaser
upon placing their order with the company shall notify the
company of the intended use or application of goods
purchased. Failing to notify the company of the intended
use of application prior to purchasing of goods, the
warranty shall be null and void.
The
warranty requires you, the consumer, to ensure that the
right maintenance procedures are followed. This warranty
does not cover damage as result of wind, hail or other
acts of God or damage to the coated finish through misuse.
If
your HomeGarden.co.za furniture fails structurally (i.e.
broken frames, castings,) within one year from the date of
purchase, or if the products have numerous blisters or
peels completely within one year from date of purchase, we
will replace or repair the frame in the original style and
coated finish if available, or in a similar style and
coated finish if the original has been discontinued. We
reserve the right to repair or replace defective
merchandise at our discretion.
The
warranty does not cover damage caused by ordinary
wear-and-tear, fading, maliciously-destroy,VANDALISM,malicious
damage,
accidents, acts of nature, mildew, misuse or shipping. Our
warranty does cover freezing damage on cast Aluminium
components. If the finish peels or blisters within one
year from date of purchase, we will replace, repair or
refinish the frame in the original style and finish, if
available or in a similar style and finish if the original
has been discontinued. We reserve the right to repair or
replace defective merchandise at our discretion.
When making a claim we require proof of purchase together
with a description and a photo/video of the damage. Before
request replacement, please provide Photo or Video (Proof
of Product Damage, Error, Fault, Defect) and Tax Invoice
or Online Order Number Terms & conditions apply,
We do
not provide any warranty or guarantee if our products are
using in the public, commercial or business – all products
are using at own risks -
The warranty applies to home
use only, and not for commercial use.
The
Warranty requires the customer to follow our care and
maintenance instructions.
Although virtually maintenance-free, with a little care
and attention your HomeGarden.co.za aluminium furniture
will maintain its original appearance for many years to
come. Use only water and natural soaps for cleaning.
Never use solvents or
abrasives
If
any product used in normal environment, under normal
circumstances, these products can last for a very long
time permanently and it will be safe to use them. If any
VANDALISM and owner uses it INCORRECTLY, it is obvious
that the product will not last for a long time and it
tends to break easily. Any supplier does not bear this
responsibility
For example
Each chair has four legs for supporting purpose, if you
tries to rock the chair on to its hind legs , you are
decreasing the supporting base which will lead to breakage
of the chair.
